Yellowish Flycatcher - Empidonax flavescens
Copyright: monacoeye • Do not copy without permission • Chiriqui, May 2010

Bird name: Yellowish Flycatcher
Latin: Empidonax flavescens
Other:
Family: Tyrannidae • Tyrant Flycatchers
Range: Southeast Mexico to western Panama highlands

The Yellowish Flycatcher is identifiable by its prominent eye-ring. It is yellowish below and has two wing bars. This individual was low in the canopy and not too wary - typical for the Yellowish Flycatcher - so I could focus.

In Panama found only in the western highlands.
