The adult Yellow-thighed Finch is generally instantly recognisable with its yellow thigh pompom, black head and grey body, although the juvenile may have no yellow thigh. Also can be difficult to see in the rain.
These Yellow-thighed Finches came to eat seed in the mountains above Los Quezales.
